The Treaty Education Kit includes a wealth of Treaty education teaching resources for classroom teachers, beginning at the grades K-12 levels.
The new instructional Treaty education Teacher Guides have been designed to complement the existing MB Social Studies Curriculum and learning outcomes for grade K-12. They will enhance and enrich the students' learning experience. Students will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts, understandings and topics related to the Treaties and the Treaty relationship which are the building blocks of the shared history between First Nations, Manitobans and Canadians.
